Instrumentation Cable

Industrial Instrumentation Cable Manufacturer & Supplier

Singla Cables manufactures instrumentation cables with standard or solid copper conductors, individually and overall shielded pairs and triads, and unarmoured or armoured construction, from 2 to 61 pairs/triads in conductor sizes of 0.5 sq mm to 2.5 sq mm.

We are an industrial instrumentation cable manufacturer and instrumentation cable supplier based at SIDCO Industrial Complex, Bari Brahmana, Jammu (J&K). We supply EPC contractors, plant owners, panel builders, OEMs and dealers across North India, working directly from your datasheet, BOQ or tender requirement.

Pair or Triad: Which Instrumentation Cable Do I Need?

Both pairs and triads are available, from 2 up to 61 pairs/triads in one cable.

A pair has two insulated conductors twisted together and carries the signal of one instrument. It is the usual choice for standard two-wire instrument connections.

A triad has three insulated conductors twisted together. It is used where an instrument connection needs a third conductor.

A multi-pair or multi-triad cable combines many pairs or triads in a single cable. When many instruments share the same route from a junction box to the control room, one multi-pair cable keeps the installation neat and avoids laying many separate cables.

To choose, count the instruments on each run and note whether their connections need two or three conductors. Share this with us and we will suggest the right configuration.

Why Is Shielding Used in Instrumentation Cables?

Shielding protects small measurement signals from electrical noise along the cable route. In an industrial plant, instrumentation cables often run near motors, drives, transformers and power cables, all of which create electrical interference.

  • Individual shield on each pair/triad (Mylar, drain wire or AL Mylar) keeps one pair’s signal from interfering with another inside the same cable.
  • Overall shield around all pairs/triads (Mylar, drain wire or AL Mylar) guards the whole cable against noise from outside.
  • Both together give+ the most protection in electrically noisy areas.

A drain wire is a bare conductor laid along with the shield, which makes it easier to connect the shield to earth at the termination. Tell us your shielding requirement and we will build the cable accordingly.

Where Are Industrial Instrumentation Cables Used?

Instrumentation cables are used wherever a process has to be measured and monitored. They connect field instruments to PLC, DCS and control panels, so that operators and control systems always see accurate readings.

  • Process plants: temperature, pressure, flow and level measurement from the field to the control room
  • Power plants and utilities: monitoring of auxiliary systems and plant parameters
  • Steel and cement plants: process monitoring and machine instrumentation in demanding surroundings
  • Oil and gas units: field instruments connected to control rooms across process areas
  • Water and wastewater plants: level, flow and pressure monitoring at pumping and treatment sites
  • Junction box and marshalling panel wiring: multi-pair runs from the field to control systems
  • Exposed and outdoor runs: armoured and sheathed construction for cable trays, direct laying and open routes

What Are the Key Features of Our Instrumentation Cables?

  • Savings on material, labour and maintenance: cables rated for exposed runs can be laid without conduit, which reduces material, installation effort and upkeep.
  • Better electrical performance and longer runs: suited to many different environments, so the same cable range can serve different areas of a plant.
  • Reliable, flexible installation connections: available with the ratings your installation needs.
  • Jacket options: resistance to oil, outdoor sunlight/UV, flame and extreme temperatures, selected through the outer sheath options.
  • Insulation options: good wet electrical performance, oil and chemical resistance, and flexibility in extreme temperatures.
  • Conductor options: greater flexibility, longer flex life and corrosion resistance.
  • Wide construction range: 2 to 61 pairs/triads in conductor sizes from 0.5 sq mm to 2.5 sq mm.

Why Choose Singla Cables as Your Instrumentation Cable Manufacturer and Supplier?

When you buy from a manufacturer, the people who answer your technical questions are the people who make the cable. That means clearer communication, fewer misunderstandings on specification, and a cable built around your requirement.

  • Manufacturer, not a trader: technical queries go directly to the team that makes the cable.
  • Wide construction range: 2 to 61 pair/triad with many insulation, shield and sheath options, so one supplier can cover different needs in your project.
  • Specification-led: built around your datasheet, drawing or tender requirement.
  • Bulk and project supply: from a single run to full project quantity, with dispatch planned around your schedule.
  • Supply across North India: Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal and nearby regions, directly from our plant at Bari Brahmana.
Are you an instrumentation cable manufacturer or a trader?

Singla Cables is a manufacturer. Cables are made at our own works in SIDCO Industrial Complex, Bari Brahmana, Jammu, so queries on specification, quantity and delivery go directly to the team that makes them, not through a middleman.

Which insulation materials are available?

PE, PVC, HR-PVC, XLPE, Silicon and FR-XLPE. The choice depends on the temperature, oil, chemical and flame conditions at your installation. Share your site conditions or datasheet and we will help you select.

What shielding options are available?

Each pair/triad can be shielded individually, and all pairs/triads can be shielded together overall. The shielding options are Mylar, drain wire and AL Mylar. Individual and overall shielding can be combined for noisy areas.

Do you supply EPC contractors, OEMs and dealers?

Yes. We supply EPC contractors, plant owners, panel builders, OEMs and dealers, for single requirements as well as project and bulk quantities.

How can I get the price of instrumentation cables?

Price depends on the construction, size and quantity. Call +91-9906099993 or email enquiry@singlacables.com with your requirement, and we will share a quotation.
